Welcome to our neck of the internet, we're so glad you're here!
As the Iowa farmer's wife, I think there are a few things you should know:
1) We don't live on the farm. Yet (and that is a very big YET, because we hope and pray that one day we will).
2) I'm not the most farm-oriented gal in the world. But I AM working on it.
3) I love the Farmer and his love for the farm more than I can express.
4) We are working to incorporate Montessori methods into our homeschooling environment in our home. This is definitely a work in progress!
Things I love:
God, The Farmer, Sweet P!, Sprout!, spending time with my fabulous sisters and my mama, coffee, pizza, taking long baths, curling up with a good book, watching movies with the Farmer, saving money, learning about homeschooling, crafting, creating, playing games, MOPS, KBN, spring, summer and fall (anything, but winter in Iowa), naan, cooking, baking, cleaning (just kidding), praying, laughing, loving, smiley faces :), and oh yes, blogging.
My hopes:
To spend more time at the farm, to sell our produce at a Farmer's Market, to enjoy gardening (did you notice it wasn't one of my loves?), to freeze tons and tons of our produce, pasta sauce, pesto and veggie soup, to have another baby (God answered this prayer with the birth of Sprout!) and to grow closer to God through reading His Word.
