Oh man, being pregnant is definitely like being on an emotional roller coaster. It's a good thing I am one of those people who after a good night's sleep can get over what I was geared up about and have a good day. The one thing I cannot forget about, however, is the throbbing pain in my foot.
Monday night at work, I got a cramp in my foot. Of course, I had to work through it so I tried to ignore it, but took my shoe off a few times to try to rub the cramp out. I went to sleep that night hoping it'd be gone in the morning. No such luck. I took Tylenol in the morning before my midwife appointment and hoped that would help. Again, no such luck. The Tylenol did absolutely nothing to soothe the pain of my foot. I tried to stay off it until work and then ended up coming home early because I could hardly walk. It's not swollen, no outward signs of distress to the foot and I cannot figure out what's wrong with it. It feels the same this morning. I'm annoyed because the last thing I need is to have problems walking. I already waddlle! Anyway, that's my rant for the day. Any foot doctors out there feel free to give advice.
In other news, the midwife appointment went well. Baby is head down and Kim (one of the midwives) said she feels like she's about a 5 lb baby so that's great news! Good, strong heartbeat and measuring perfectly so all is well on the baby front! Tomorrow I'll be 35 weeks. I can't believe we're going to be parents in about 5 weeks!
